Job Description:
The Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for assisting in
the installation, management, configuration, and support of the
Naval Warfare Center Training Systems Division development IT
infrastructure, which includes servers, developer stations, and
stand-alone trainer networks. Monitors system performance to ensure
optimal operation and implement security measures to safeguard
systems and data. The Systems Administrator will also document
system configurations and procedures, collaborate with senior
administrators to enhance their skills, and contribute to the
development and integration of various training software products,
virtual reality products, media, and research support products.
This position provides assistance with test and evaluation,
technical documentation, life cycle support, software integration,
and Navy workstation emulation. This role will be based in the
Orlando, FL area and requires full-time, on-site presence.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data
Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, and a minimum of
one to two (1-2) years of relevant experience or equivalent
combination of education/experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly
required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or
feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate
tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear.
Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or
crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and
occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to
general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $75K to $80K, with the
final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
